For as long as she can remember, Christine Koutsky knew she wanted to be a nurse. Being a nurse is simply a part of who she is.
Christine Koutsky earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis in 2013 and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Since 2014, Christine Koutsky has been a nurse practitioner at Elmhurst Orthopaedics. She began her nursing career in the surgical arena and very quickly specialized in orthopedics and neurosurgery.
Becoming a nurse practitioner in the orthopedic and spine specialty was a natural next step for Christine Koutsky because it allows her to blend the nurturing and caring aspect of who she is as a nurse with the science of medicine to truly provide her patients with very individualized and holistic care.
At Elmhurst Orthopaedics, Christine Koutsky makes sure that all of her patients are treated with respect. She understands that patients have a choice about their healthcare providers, and she aims to make sure that everyone who visits Elmhurst Orthopaedics feels appreciated. As a dedicated medical professional, she truly cares about how her patients feel and will collaborate with them to find the best treatment to meet their needs and help them feel better.
In her free time, Christine Koutsky is a mother of two busy boys and enjoys reading, photography, and travel. Above all, however, she loves spending time with her family.
